'56 F100 Front Wheel Hub

Wow, I thought I'd heard it all...no, F100s are not built on a car frame. Ford/Mercury introduced the first independent front suspension in their car lines in 1949, the truck line kept the straight axle to 56 and beyond. I am not too familiar with the car hub/bolt pattern but I believe that the truck lug pattern is wider than the car as well.

Early Ford pickups before 1942 were built on car frames, and were even called 'commercial cars.' They were not F-100's or even rated at half ton like newer trucks. But Ford also built heavy pickups and larger trucks on their own truck chassis. Since 1942, Ford pickups all had their own chassis totally different from passenger cars.
1956 F-100 hubs were not the same as car hubs.
