hubs

bought parts truck (ebay ) 1981 ford 150 has rear end 9 inch get this car h
ubs? 4 3/4 also on front is their a hub off a ford car that would fit on 50 f1?
mabee 4 1/2 space i measured i was going to use 9" rear and mags on rear and front came with parts truck thanks richard jobe

I think his 1981 parts truck has a car bolt pattern on the 9 inch rearend and car hubs or bolt pattern up front. He wants to know if there is a car hub that will fit a 1950 F1.The disk brake kit you buy for the front of the F1 uses a car hub. You actually name the bolt pattern and they supply it with the kit. There is an adapter that is put on the axle for spacing purposes.

i bought 81 ford with small wheel pattern car front & back i was going to put reae end in my 50 f1 i was wondering what to do about front wheels parts
truck has got mag wheels good looking i would like to use all 4 of them

Richard,

If you plan on keeping your original front suspension, you could convert to disc brakes like Chris suggested and use rotors with 5 on 4.5 pattern. If you want to update the front suspension, you could put a Volare suspension under it or even a T-bird or other Ford suspension graft. These options would also give you the 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern.
