Looking at replacing my Amazon crap LED that I have in the front bumper. My light has water in it, yeah I know you buy cheap you pay the price. Anyway, looking at a 20 inch single row and there are so many options and sky high prices I thought I'd ask you guys. Mine is exactly where the front license plate was.
look at apexleds.com I've been using there 20" bar and there 50" bar i recently took them off and gave them to my brother for his truck but the price is good. i like rigid industries a lot but they are what some consider to be high priced. but there the ones that started it all everything after that is an imitation. that being said most have caught up with the durability that rigids have.
I'm running a Westin light bar. I had my mind on a set of Rigid's, but the performance shop I get a lot of my goodies through recommended this. I was not disappointed.
Before.
After. Note the trees in the background. They're not even in the main beam of light.

Good to hear on Apex, are they all aluminum construction like the rigids? I'm going to do the following, and would like to use Apex ($$)...
I also just put these in the bed, and wired to up fitter #4...nice and bright at night, and can see the entire bed. $59.99 on Amazon. (Stock photo from their website)

NStorm. Does your '15 Plt have different headlights then the rest of the '15's? Looks like it
Hi 17, The black truck in the pic in my post is just a stock image from the net, the headlights look like Spyders or some other company like that. Mine are the standard Ford lights. Those upgraded ones are cool, but awfully spendy. I like the idea of adding additional light with the bars. Do you see something different about the lights in the truck in my avatar? (The bronze one...that's my rig).
I used the cheap Amazon crap as you say and haven't had any issues with water. Did you seal it up with silicone? For my use this inexpensive light puts out all the light I need and a tube of silicone was far cheaper than a Rigid LED. I just did as others had suggested and sealed up any joints.

Thanks, no I just you have a Plt model and was wondering if they have different lighting from LED's. I am betting Ford will go that route and shuck those pitiful and embarrassing yellow lights my KR has/had.
We don't see too many Plts down here in ranch country, most KR's.
