It's not all gravy. I have a couple more videos. It's not building oil pressure. At least not enough. It starts n runs,, but there's something I missed (prob). I'm planning on pulling the body tomorrow and yanking it again to check it over. I've ran it to 1500 rpm,, and I'm only seeing 17-20 psi at that rpm. Racking my freakin brain. I've been saying that my days are numbered,,, this is the first time I've had to recheck a customers truck. I guess I'm payin dues. We only touched,,,, EVERYTHING!!! Lol. I'm human,,, hopefully it won't cost ME too much to fix.
I originally thought I broke my first rocker or bent my first push tube,, but after getting to them,, I realized the lifters weren't pumped up (even after it was running). Hence the oil prob. So I've checked as much top end things I could think of at the time. Gonna be hoping for an oring on the pickup or lower oil pan seal. The way I'm feeling,, could be a bearing spun and is spewing the oil. But,, It ran and sounded fine.
I'm all ears on suggestions too guys. We got some sharp folks on here. sure does suk being human tho. Lol

Any chance it could be the oil pressure regulator piston sticking in its bore? How did the front cover look?
Okay, are we talking base engine oil pressure issues? You say this engine is running fine, yet you mention you THOUGHT bent your first pushtube and/or broke your first rocker arm. That tells me you thought the engine was/is misfiring, so I guess a more direct question is, what are the present symptom(s)?
I've got three more videos. I found the prob,, and it is a mishap on my part. Just because I didn't examine close enough. I still have to upload the last video showing the actual cause.
thats crazy man, that machine shop sure is costing you a lot of your time.
the bearing look good, do the measure good?
if you have it torn down that far you might as well just go ahead and replace them though.
just for good measure and peace of mind.
Hate to say it, it is on them, but your right you did the assemblyshould of caught it.....but as you said "I'm only human". I wouldn't of thought to look either
The rod bearings look great,, has anyone taken apart an engine after an hour of running??? The lower mains have wear,, but no grooves. we are going to replace the lowers for sure. Not sure if it's worth it to disassemble to replace the upper mains n rods,, after seeing how the #8 rod bearing looks so good. It's the farthest from the pump,, and should show the most wear. Sure hate to open a can of worms by disassembling unnecessarily. Removing the crank "heads on" is not something I'm fond of doing.
If it was mine the bearings would get replaced in pairs, I would not replace just one half. What did you use for assembly lube? There is more wear than I would expect to see in 1 hour unless the lube was too thin or contaminants were present.
I understand replacing in pairs,,, and the wear that would be "expected",, but has anyone seen what bearings look like after actually running for an hour?? I haven't.
