Anyone do an axle drop and lowering springs? Or just one or the other! Want to decide if I'm going to be too low if I do both? I think it would look sick, but I want to double check my instinct. Any pic of it little detail would be a good help.
That's the look I want!! Any issues? Major rubbing? Tires clear? What size? Thank you for the pic. Can you give me some details about what you had to do or change to do the front lowering?
tires are P215/70R15 on front and P235/75R15 on rear. No rubbing issues, the wheels are 15x7 replica Rally wheels. Sometimes (not often) when I'm turning the drag link will rub the steering arm. This usually happens if I'm turning into a parking lot with a fairly steep uphill entrance.
Ours has 2" drop spindles on a MII front end. The springs in back lowered it about 2"--I *think*. But the truck is definitely lower than stock all the way around...
I'm hoping that with a 3" drop axle from side and a Posies front and rear 3 drop spring kit that I'll be loooow but not too low? Still up in the air about what it will sit like? These pics and details are great
Personally I think the grey truck is too low in the back. You need just a little front rake to get the right look no matter how low you go. The green truck is closer but I'd like to see it 1" lower in the front.
Shade....Holy crap is that a mean looking truck. That's the height I'm looking for. I ordered 3" drop axle and posies 3" drop leafs. Rear I ordered 3" Posies drop rear leafs and I'm thinking about removing a couple leafs or doing the axle flop? I've heard good and bad stories about the axle flop. I got a steel plate in my bed I'm thinking I can raise the plate in the center. Just put gradual bow in it, so that it will clear the pumpkin hitting. Prob going to look at the stance with the full front done and just the rear leafs....decide after that

And to think, I spent the last three days raising it up 1" inch
I like the way it sat. Low and mean looking. Lol. Any issues of rubbing or anything? I'm scared to be too low and have issues rubbing and steering etc.
