have had sunpro in my truck for almost 2 years now and all gauges are ok.
I'll buy them again. The water temp gauge was in the truck before I bought it and it works well too. 4 bad in a row isn't good.
I've never had problems with Autometer; I've really gotten to like Equus gauges for now, though.
They sell individual parts of gauges so if you accidently roll your seat over the bulb after you've dropped it, you can get a new one without buying a whole gauge.
Not that I've ever done that before, but I've heard people have...
I've not had any problem with my Sun Pro gages, my STII is 28 years old, my vac gage is as old, my temp gage is a few months old, but I feel certain it'll be OK as well as my new volt meter and oil pressure gage. My last oil press gage was 22 yrs old, I only replaced it because it was cheaper to get the three gage set than to buy just a volt meter and temp gage.
I also have a 18 year old or older SP voltmeter on my '85 Honda GL1200A that is fine.
