94 Ranger ABS Blink Codes
My son just wired my ranger for a 4-prong trailer connection. I am now getting an ABS blink of 15 short-1 long repeating flash message. I have also lost brake lights. I removed the trailer wiring and still have these problems. Beside not letting my son wire for me again, does anyone know what the code means and how to fix it? Hi, welcome to FTE!
I can't tell you too much about what the flashing light means, but I was wondering, did you check your fuses? There are a couple of them related to the ABS system and also one for the brake pedal position switch. Maybe something got crossed up and a fuse blew during the installation. Your owner's manual has a good description of the fuse box and fuses.
