The reason its hot is that the fuel that flows through it just went through the heads. So the fuel is heating it up rather than cooling it off.
I dident know it went through the heads first. The thought it went from the pump to the filters to the fpr. Then to the heads.also I don't understand why that problem went away right after I changed the oil then came back a day later. Was it because the oil was fresh and thick. It can.if it is bad in the manner of giving a false feedback reading to the pcm.IF you had a method of seeing live data you might see it being incorrect. Otherwise its leaking oil and needs replaced anyway
Well I got my icp in,$200 later. The power range is better now. I bought a scanner this weekend and it's telling me that I need to look at my exhaust back pressure sensor. So I'm gonna clean it and the tube. I'm hoping It helps my boost and also my high egt's.
