HELP repair panel needed cant find

Ok so i tore into the passanger side rear cab corner on my 68 crew cab and found to much rust on what i think is the inner rocker but cant seam to find one here is a pic of what i need



this is it is it the came as the ones on the regular cabs?

im sure i can fab it i just worry about it looking right and not enterfearing with the door

I bet you can do it. Read through 67Nuke's build thread. See how and what he did. Unbelievable work he did with the sheetmetal.

Exactly. I didn't think that I could do it either....until I did it.

Don't worry about all of the different angles. Just make it up one piece at a time, a smidge bigger than it should be and grind it to fit perfectly.

I know everyone has their own way of doing things. If I am making something like that and the angles need to be just right, before you cut the old piece out make a poster board template that you can put against your new piece to compare it, sure takes the guess work out of it. I've run though several pieces on my truck.

i was able to save the other good enough for a template and thats what im going by in makeing a new one

With out paint on it it's hard to see it. See what you can do when faced with rust.
Hope you used a acid prep to stop it from rusting any more.

How many pieces did you patch in there?

It will look better when primed and painted. And with the door closed, you will hardly notice it at all.
