Sue across the alley from me used to work in one of the rail shops until the Hinton derailment. Hope the management treats you ok there Soko. Started painting the truck yesterday, don't have enough room to spray with a gun so I got to do it in sections using rattle cans, bit of a pita but it could be worse. Put some clearcoat runs in it on the passenger side, so I guess I'll cover it for now and catch it when I'm unmasking it. Not that bad a problem. No more snows I hope.
I got a brother that lives near you seventyseven, he's lifelong mechanic with papers and now works for himself. His habits are boats both sail and bow riders, doesn't mess with old trucks anymore but knows fords inside out. Has that sail parked behind that legion in kensington off 18th.

I think a lot of little boys are into trains, I know I sure was. Used to walk for hours along the tracks with my dad. Even sweet talked our way onto a train for a round trip through the rogers pass. I suspect that's impossible these days.
Dad actually walked all the way through one of the spiral tunnels near field BC once. My brother was with him. Probably a terrible idea, and my brother was scared as hell. They never did that again. I went in the first hundred yards, and that was freaky enough.
I'm still into trains, love 'em.
