That might actually be considered part of the fuel system. An HPOP lubes the heads as an after-task... but the primary purpose is to pressurize the fuel injectors for better atomization. Say somebody installed 450/400 injectors: Their fuel mods would include a bigger fuel pump and HPOP. The fuel pump is little more than the guy that holds the nail, the HPOP is Thor.
How about a location for the owners "FTE Username"? They don't have to put it down, but if someone wants to send the owner a PM or E-mail, this would be a way to contact them without revealing personal contact info.......
All my data is already sorted by that, and that is exactly what I want to delete. "Oh... this is XYZ's truck... and his signature has ZYX's tuner." There's enough jumping dentures without me winding that spring.
Just happened across this thread tonight killing time at work.
I'm really looking forward to seeing this adventure develop. I wish I knew more about how to process the data to help make it more user friendly. For now, I have to sit and wait.
One of the biggest frustrations I had when trying to learn to use AE while trouble shooting issues with my truck is what should the min and max be set at on the PID's and that there isn't a standard for testing. I would look at what others were posting and I couldn't find anything close to what I was seeing for the same data. Maybe it was because of my altitude here for the Denver area?
Again, thanks to all the folks willing to take this on and what a great idea.
OK, I know it's been 6 weeks since the start of this thread. Just to catch everyone up to speed.
1. The project has not been forgotten
2. I would guess we are about 90% there (Thanks to ExPACamper & Tugly)
3. Just tweaking a few things so when it's thrown out there we don't have to make revisions while trying to move ahead.
4. I think this is really going to help folks troubleshoot there 7.3L's

Soooo many permutations and combinations of data, formats, scales, values returned, logging programs, log orders, header names, sheet names for Excel vs Open Office, etc.
We are working to avoid macros and VB for compatibility and security reasons. Using all functions can be quite complex
We do need some help with the column headers for those that data log with the Infinity. We have most of them but not all. So if anyone had an infinity or a data log from infinity and would like to help chime on in.
Without holding a vote on this, I thought the best name for this project would be PID 3D (Diesel Data Depot). It's easy to type a search with thumbs on a portable device, to say, and to remember. Plus... it has the added bonus of being a double entendre (one of my favorite things) - with the understanding that the data graphing adds a whole different dimension to columns and rows of numbers.
I can't wait for ExPACamper's release of Diesel Data Depot. I think it's about 95% there - it really will make graphing very simple & be a great troubleshooting tool.

Here are my PerDels I just logged with AE, graphed as a test in the new system. EOT >120F
This took about 10 seconds to copy and paste the logfile name and select how many rows I wanted to plot (4 in this case)
