I think you have some bound up ball joints. I would bet it's the side you didn't have replaced before. Did they install grease-able ball joints last time?
I went back and checked, all four ball joints were replaced five years ago. They do have grease fittings.
How about your power steering pump or gearbox? Low on fluid or leaking? Is it hard to turn initially? Do you have any play or wobble in your steering wheel?
I had a F150 that had a bad bearing in the steering column, and in the early stages of failure it would do the same thing. Eventually, it would lock up. Talk about some 'ole' time power steering!
Lots of parts in the steering mechanism. Try not to limit yourself to targeting one or two items.
Wow it's terrible this problem is still going on. Simple troubleshooting, but have you tried to drive it with out the stabilizer on?
I have not tried driving it without the stabilizer. Is that possible? I am not a mechanic and have been having trouble finding one that is able to figure out the problem.

I did check the fluid and the level was fine, no leaking either. It is not hard to turn initially, only after a full turn and then when the wheel gets close to being straight. It's happening on left and right turns, but intermittently.
