So I have been looking around and I have decided I will probably get a 3" downpipe in the next few days, but I was also looking at a new compressor wheel. I have done some research but haven't found a head to head test of the wicked wheel 2 vs. the Riffraff billet wheel. I do a lot of snowplowing during the winter so I am looking for a wheel that spools up faster than others. Does anyone have advice on this subject?
Go with riffraff wheel, I have it and it's great, I'd stick with the 1.15 housing. Mine spools low enough with riffraff wheel.... 1.0 housing can cause some issues if you try and use higher rpms for highway towing and such..... over speed the turbo
I will probably just use the 1.15 A/R because i'm on a pretty tight budget, and I am probably going to be doing a good bit of highway driving, sometimes heavily loaded. how old is your Riffraff wheel? I have heard the design has been updated a few times.
