We have a terminology problem here. Turbine and compressor wheel are two different things.

Right Mike.

Since he has the wicked compressor wheel I figured
he was looking for the exhaust turbine wheel.

I will clarify.

dt444e,

The wicked wheel is the compressor wheel.

The wheel on the exhaust side is the turbine wheel.

Right Mike?

Yep. If he needs the turbine and the shaft, he is probably shopping for a new turbo, but what do I know? Good advice with Ron's turbo service. I will be interested to see what comes out of this.

If I remember right someone had a chipped turbine vane and it was causing a weird noise.

I think your right Robin. They had posted the link to where they had got the replacement too IIRC.

as stated before I need the turbine wheel exhaust side... not the compressor wheel intake side. I already have the compressor wheel i caught my turbo issue before it was too late. the turbo had a 1/4" play in it and it tore the compressor housing up. however the turbine wheel isn't in good enough shape to put back on. i bought the wicked wheel and a rebuild kit before taking turbo apart and realize after having it apart that the turbine wheel exhaust size has about .110 of inch wear on it do to the thrust bearing giving out. just need a turbine wheel.

Well then you did not catch it before it was too late. Good luck to you.

That was me...

When I was looking into replacing the exhaust turbine I called gpopshop.com since I couldn't get ahold of Ron, and they told me it can be replaced and they run around $200-$225. They are pressed onto the shaft and the would need my serial# off the turbo to supply the correct one.

Since I was in that same boat and was looking at $225 for the exh turbine, $150 for the rebuild kit, etc..I started looking for a stock turbo or Van turbo. I was going to get a Van turbo from Clay @ Riffraff but he was a couple weeks out, then I talked with Joe who had a stock turbo with some issues. His issues didn't worry me so I mixed and matched with my turbo and got it all back together and it runs PERFECT.

I'd try to find a stock turbo, lots of guys on here have upgraded you might find one a decent price. I know Clay has some turbos but he is at RRE right now, not sure how quick you need it.

Joe I ordered the tubing to make the 4" inlet pipe, Ill let you know as soon as I am done
