Here's some more shocking news... I switched out the factory shocks to try some Rancho 9000's and in less than a year my truck bounced/flopped around like crazy indicating those Rancho 9000's were toast. Now here's the shocking part.... I switched back and purchased new Ford/Rancho shocks and now my truck for the last 6 months rides sooo much better.

that is some shocking news. it is unfortunate that the 9000's don't last longer than a year.

I put the Rancho 9000Xls on my 2011 F-350 CC LB.
Towed 42 ft 18K lb 5th wheel. Being able to adjust them was fantastic.....
I will purchase these shocks again for my new 2015 F-350 DRW CC LB.

Lucky for you duallys don't seem to ever have the problem.
Got any links to any of those papers or discussions. The factors I brought up one or more guarantees wheel hop at various speeds and has done so since Model T's broke the 10 mph wall.

There is on most cars various points at which vibrations meet and raise havoc. Its quite complex. On the Jeep TJ you can often find it dwelling around 35 mph and again at around 50 mph +/-. Its far from rare and seems to raise its ugly head the more you have modified various parameters.

My advice is to always keep your vehicle as close to OEM specs as possible and maintain your vehicle.
