Pulling 3500 lb trailer from MI to FL. Got off highway and came to a stop at a light. Sitting there with my foot on the break and heard this loud cluck sound. It also felt as if it went into neutral until I accelerated. And it didn't want to move at first. Anyone else have this issue?
I had a sticky slip joint once, made a nasty clunk.
Could it be the automatic anti roll back feature? When you stop the truck will keep the brakes engaged until the throttle gets pushed and the brake release makes a thud.
When I'm in M shift and I downshift to 1st while sitting still there's a clunk.
I am in Daytona this week will have to find a garage here to pull drive shaft and grease it.
Do the super cabs have two piece drive shafts or one?
Thank you
