just picked up a 2014 hold over and had my 2010 replaced
my problem is the sync system, old truck it worked great, this new one when I try to answer a phone call bia Bluetooth the system rings 2 times after the phone has picked up and the people calling either hang up or are asking if I'm there. very annoying as this is my work vehicle and take many calls.
is there a setting I am missing? update? my 2010 had a way better sync system as far as ring tones selection etc...either that or something is messed up.

I have to agree about Sync getting worse. I had problems with mine and went to the syncmyride site, they had me do a master reset it got better. It took a total of three resets, it got better every time, now it works most of the time. If there is a reason that I give up on Ford it will be Sync.

Took me most of a day to get mine to call out. Ford support was worthless. Finally found the solution on the internet (my phone was not setup to make calls from sleep mode). I think this is the default mode on my phone and is probably a common problem, but Sync support had no clue.

yeah, it's bad, also had a customer complain yesterday the feedback or echo he hears is terrible so I asked a few people I talk to regularly and they said the same thing.

I've tried everything I can, all phone settings are exactly the same as my 2010 and sync worked great on there, the new one actually I can say it sucks, it takes 13 seconds to answer a call that's terrible, my Bluetooth in my 2006 GMC with on star was way better than this 2014. That's sad
Hi Kim, thanks for replying. I don't want to hijack a thread here , but the sync in my truck sucks. Sometimes it works fine other times it can't hear me talk. It doesn't misunderstand it is like the microphone doesn't turn on. Then it tells me all the commands I can say but it won't listen. It's not working today again.
The only way to get it to work is shut it down open the door and hope it works next time.
Please PM your VIN so I can see which type of system your truck is equipped with. I'd also like to verify that you're running the latest software available.

Although the master reset is a great troubleshooting tool, it shouldn't need to be performed as often as you're indicating. Please PM your VIN as well so I can check to see which software version you're running.
