Manual transfer case option?

Do any of you know if you can get a manual transfer case on a 4x4 2011 F-150? Or is shift on the fly the only best offered now?
Thanks

The manual T-case is available or standard on XL and STX trucks.

I would prefer a manual shift transfer on all 4X4's. I have seen plenty of situations where the 4 wheel drive was needed ( either for work or to get out of a bind) but the shifting motor was out, or there was a wiring issue. IMO I think the manual shift is better.

Of course, these were all older trucks. Back when shift on the fly first came out. I'm sure the mechanics of the new systems are much improved.

But what do I know?

I also prefer a manual T-case and quite frankly, I'd like to have manual hubs too.

See, I forgot about the manual hubs because my truck doesn't have them.

I did have a 94 sierra 4x4 with a manual shift transfer case but it had automatic hubs. They never worked right, and sometime wouldn't even engage.

I got stuck a lot in the one.

I agree with on the hubs.

I would like to pull a new 2011 F-150 crew cab behind our motorhome, but without a N postion in a manual 4x4 transfer case, it can't be done.
Ford is loosing a lot of RV toad business to GM at this point. Almost all of their models can be toad (towed) 4 wheels down at this point.
Come on Ford...get it together!!!
I would hate to have to sell my Ford stock and buy a GM!!!

Can you still get a manual transfer case on a XLT? My 06 XLT has one.

Sadly I don't think so. I remember the days when the XLT was the cat's meow and now it seems to be the new version of the old XL models only with a few upgrades.

I wouldn't know as I bought my truck used. I wish it had it though.

On top of me thinking that the manual shift t-case is better, I think it looks cool and feels more like a truck should be. With everything going automatic and shift on the fly, these truck (to me) feel more like cars. I'm not saying that I don't enjoy how nice they've become, just that the don't seem as tough as they use too. Just my opinion

Looking through the F-150 Order Guide (09/03/10), getting a MSOF over ESOF is tied closely to getting the 3.7L V6. But there is some "oddities" which are clouding the real picture. For example, the combination of certain trim levels, cab & box styles automatically bump you to a different motor (generally the 5.0L). I guess the best that I can offer is that it is limited to certain XL, STX, and XLT configurations.

Ford still offers manual tranfer case and manual locking hubs on the SD trucks. I also wish they were still offered on the F150's across the board.

Yes, I did mean 2011, I corrected my error above which in its original state read 2001. Thank you for pointing out the error.

that wasn't the intended purpose by any means, i was really trying to figure out if they stopped putting the neutral position in the 2011 manual transfer case's. I thought that was a requirement to shift from 4 high to 4 low
