Cute new pet Greg!

I spent the day digging a footing for my current project. It turned out to be mostly somewhat decomposed granite. I did think about just pouring cement on top just to
create a surface for the first course of block. But I did find some soft spots so I did
follow through. Had to use my hammer drill and an air chisel. Then vacuumed out the
stuff. My hands are wrecked. I will pour that in the AM. Then go pick up some angle iron that will become a framework. I gave my mig welder to my son, down in San Diego
so all I have is gas. But that should suffice.

Hey Donna, did they get you rig fixed up so you can work yet?

Cheers everyone.

Evening Nevada. How are you Bruce? Sound busy. I'm working on some property we bought in Goldfield NV. Finally got water & sewer to property, hope to get fence & shed started this Spring.
Wife fell at work & has a serious ankle break & a bad hematoman on the other. Part was work related & we have had to hire a lawyer to fight the workman,s comp. So life has been pretty tough the last few months. Just thankful we don't have any debt. The wife gets her insurance as long as on workman's comp. But the doctors are doubting she will be able to return to work. So life is one day at a time.

Morning everyone

Happy Tuesday!

Greg-Although I don't like spiders, I must say that her new pet has some pretty colors.

Well, I'm off to the eye doctor for my followup. He was supposed to do surgery on my right eye today, but he wants to wait due to complications from my 1st surgery. I'll let you know what he says.

Have a great day!

Morning everyone. I hope you all have a great day.

Now I understand that it is not a pet for everyone. It is a pet that takes very little care and doesn't feel neglected when left alone for extended periods. It's enclosure only needs cleaning about 2 times a year and as a spiderling or "sling" only gets feed 2 times a week. Once older it only gets feed once a week and can go up to 3 months without being fed. It's habitat once full grown will only be at most a 10 gallon aquarium/terrarium. Most keepers use something closer to a 13" Corningware dish plastic enclosure that is also used for reptiles.

Once full grown this one will have vibrant blue legs, a blue/green torso, and vibrant orange butt.

Donna, I hope the appointment goes well.

I started on my cluster a couple days ago. Here is what it will look like once the ABS plastic gets here to make the plate from. Also it will have turn signal indicators that are not represented here. This is the mock up.

Hehe, no problem Jim. they are definitely not for everyone. The minion is fascinated with them, and she was able to talk her mother into letting her get one. That was no small accomplishment, and took almost 3 years.

I am sure if the tarantula gets out of its cage or aquarium or whatever it is in, the wife will revoke the privilege. LOL
