Picked up my kiln yesterday. Nobody around to help me load it but I got er done. I don't know how much that thing weighs. How much does a ton of firebrick weigh? Left it on the truck last night cause I was too tired to do otherwise. Unloaded it today, again, no strong backs around to assist. But unloading was a LOT easier. Happily, the kiln endured the trip with no injury.
I had cleared a space in my single car work shop for the kiln. And now my wife is anxious about fire, (since she nearly burned down the house the other day,) and she is making suggestions about how I could have it outdoors. I might do that, I'm enjoying the little extra space. The problem is the 240volt power requirement. I'll get it worked out.
Cool and overcast, felt like it might snow but nothing happened.
I'm just laying in bed trying to decide whether or not to go back to sleep for another hour or just stay awake. My Terex at work is in the shop, so I dont have to be there until 9.
Good Mornin! This weekends plan, is to have no plan. Going to wing it and relax (Right) OK but I'm going to wing it!
Be careful out there it is Friday the 13th!
Morning Donna, Wally. Donna, I'd opt for the going back to slee option! I'm off half day today, carpet guy coming out to the house. Then, I'm taking Monday and Tuesday off, daughter is out of school for spring break. Headed to the salvage yard on Monday, to try and find a seat for the 67, something out of a 94-2004 -150.
