Hi all, so while I wait for my new 2015 f350 lb drw to come in...what does everyone recommend for mud flaps....I didn't order the factory ones...so curious what you have....
Husky brand?
What about floor mats? Ordered just the stock carpet mats....will replace with rubber...thoughts?
I need to plant a money tree to fund the upgrades.

I need to plant a money tree to fund the upgrades.
I have the Husky guards and I like them a lot. Some others on here have used others and I'm sure they will chime in soon. They love spending other people's money.
I have stock carpet mats so I can't help there. The key is to plant the money tree now before the truck shows up.
Congrats on the new truck
I had the Husky mats in one of my trucks and loved the way they worked.
They had a very large channel on the left sides that held a bunch of water.
You will need to take them out from time to time to pour water out.
I currently have weather tech liners. They look EXCELLENT but I would say they don't handle as much water. They do ride up to the rocker and do a good job but not as functional. As far as the splash guards I always buy the Factory ones.
They work well and are no drill That is why I buy them.I think they also can have a little more surface to keep slop down.I also put the FoMoCo inner fenders in the rear which are the best.It keeps all the slop from slinging all up in there!!Good luck on whatever you get. There are a few vendors on this site as well as ebay you can get a great deal on them.
My DRW came with the real flaps that were installed by the dealer. Front flaps and mats both front and rear are Husky that were purchased off of Amazon which were the best prices I could locate.
Ford acccesories has some heavy duty solid spash guards/mud flaps...I would buy them or simlar over the molded ones that act like big shovels if snow and mud abounds in your area....

get a set for front and rear for about 160 on ebay from a few ford dealers...
I also have the heavy duty ones with the chrome inserts. Very thick and very nice. Comes with the mounting hardware in the bag. All the aftermarket ones I've seen that are similar you have to order the mounting hardware separate, and they end up costing more than the Ford ones.
For floor liners I went with WeatherTech. I've always liked the fit of those better than the Husky liners.
I will add a vote for weather techs, I have them in my work truck and personal truck. They fit great and offer good protection. I used the factory mud flaps, I don't have anything to compare them too but they look good and are holding up well.
I guess I'll offer my .02 as well. I had Husky Liners in the past and opted for WeatherTech's now and I definitely prefer the fit and finish of them over the Husky. I'm on and off site all the time and in some thick mud at times and they are more than adequate to handle the mess. As for flaps I opted for ones made by Gator Back. I'm sure they are available in your area and come in many different styles. Nice thing about them is that they carry a lifetime warranty against tearing. I have lost 2 to tearing in some big ruts now (always while in reverse) and all I have to do is bring the pieces in to the local dealer and they give me a new flap. They look good on the truck and having that kind of warranty makes them my choice. Cheers
On a side note I also have the rear wheel well liners and if you have them then I would opt to get the flaps installed where you buy them. I did them myself and it definitely takes quite a bit of extra work to install them as you have to cut the wheel well liners in places to make the flap brackets fit. Just a suggestion.
I'm a big Weathertech fan and I've had their mats in several vehicles but the Husky WeatherBeater series just looks better designed with more coverage. If I had to do it all over again I would buy the Husky WeatherBeater's. Edit: I'm editing my post to add that the Husky WeaterBeater front passenger mat is much better than the Weathertech and offers much better coverage.
I have the Husky mats and really like them. They fit extremely well, and are well made. In the thread linked above, there are pictures of Husky liners, Ford rubber mats, and Weather-Techs. May be worth a look if you're on the fence.
I have the weather tech no drill mud flaps front and back, and like the way they fit. I upgraded to the Ford factory rubber mats, but wish I would have held off. They are Ok, but just Ok. My prior truck, 2001 f250, had the weather tech and they contained spills and did a much better job over all. They also covered more of the floorboard area going higher up on the edges. I can not speak for the Huskies.
