Last I checked Canadian tire had them listed for $76. You can get it shipped to a store near you which usually only takes a few days.

I'm always jealous of the americans on here, they have access to way cheaper parts and better stores. Only us canadians will know the pain of buying something from Lordco.

Then no matter what load was on the engine the idle RPM would be subject to whatever you set for the idle RPM for by jacking with the throttle stop screw. BAD idea.

To test it you can just apply 12V power to it. Should drive all the way open.

The computer normally drives it to a position between 0-100% open by using PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) which is done by switching the circuit on and off several hundred times per second.

ok now im getting somewhere lol thnx i will try it out .... which pin is pos. and which is neg..... and i would have actually used a block off i was just curious... thnx guys

Red wire is pos, white/light blue (or whatever color it is) is the negative, whatever you do DO NOT connect it backwards or you'll cook the internal diode and it'll be junk. To be safe if your connecting it to a battery use a light bulb in series with it like a reverse light or headlight (marker light is too small).
