speed limiter
heres my problem when you and bought an 03 ford ranger 4.0 v6 manual trans not realizing there was a speed limiter set on it. i cant find anywhere to get a chip to take it off. i mean the speed limiter probably keeps me out if a lot of trouble but only going 92 mph and no faster its kind of embarassing. any help or i deas would be greatly appreciated.

And the reason you need to go more than 92MPH is what? So the ticket is even more $$$, or the crash is even worse if you lose control or somebody pulls out in front of you? One thing to keep in mind is the fact that you bought a truck, not a sports car. Trucks aren't designed to go really fast. If they were, they'd be a lot more aerodynamic, a lot lower to the ground, and have some good speed-rated tires on them.
