Thanks for all the info. I went to the etis site and found mine was born on 4/02/99.

An E99 would have forged as well as anything up to sometime in 2002 or so. Then they did a short run with PMR's and then back to forged, before finishing out with PMR's. Here's the info on engine serial numbers (or how to check if you are unsure on the number) from another site...
