Those two beer bottle pics might be the best reference pics I've ever seen in terms of gauging ride height!

It was more than a 1 beer project. My driver side droop was more than the passenger side but all even after the spring change.
Does your truck have the 2" or 3 1/2" blocks in the rear?

ON EDIT: Looks like there is a 43-818HD spring available that has a capacity rating of 3950#s (three leaf)
Makes sense. I admit didn't check specs, just typed x codes springs into google and shopped by price.
I may be glad I went went them as true X springs may have lifted the front high enough that I would need to Block the back to match. Then my already small looking stock height tires would look even smaller.

I am glad to hear someone other than me is curious about this. I did what you did and had 43-818's before I knew there was some kind of difference. I would like to hear what the differences are. What is the standard they use to to rate these things? Or is there one? I like the ride of the 43-818 but compared to the lift stack that was on there most anything would feel good. It is possible that the 43-818's have more of an arch to them with a tapered spring and the X codes could have less of an arch and a non tapered spring, which would make them stiffer with less give thus needing a less of an arch.
