So yesterday I pulled the hydra out and hooked it up to the computer to check for new codes. The only thing I added was the whisper mode. I put the chip back in and instantly had transmission problems. When I put it in gear the transmission does not immediately engage. Forward or reverse. When i push on the accelerator, it pauses and then slowly engages. There is also a noise coming from the tranny area that I can only describe as a hissing high pressure fluid sound?
Could the chip have anything to do with this or is it pure coincidence? I checked the fluid, its fine. I pulled the chip out and drove the truck, no change.
Is my tranny just finally giving up the ghost?
Sounds like trans time then! I missed that somewhere I guess. Been there done that, Just all of a sudden trans messes up. Mine took 134K before I had to replace mine. Bother-in-law did three in first 100K, hit and miss.
Tunes. Custom tunes. I'm pretty sure that's what you mean since looking for new codes in the context you're using the term makes no sense.

Not custom tunes, didnt order any. Dont know how to explain it any further? I was just seeing if there were different tunes available from a year ago. There were. Lots of them. The only one I added though was the whisper mode.
