Question

Do I need to pull the DP chip......

to check codes. I have a bully dog programer that pulls DTC codes. I do no get any codes with the chip in. Is that accurate?

I have no problems reading codes or Engine PID's with AE when the DP chip is in, dont know about the programmers though.

Had the infamous tuner himself on the phone today and forgot to ask him. We got sidetracked on some conversation about #2 diesel. He's a great guy to talk to!

I use the evolution to pull codes when the TS chip is in. No problems from me.

I have a chip, and cleared a 1211 code with a Predator tuner just fine.

i use my old bully dog programmer to grab codes while the DP chip is in
works fine for me
