econoline vin decoder

Hey guys can any one decode this vin/chassis for us
I have been told that its a vin for a 1977/78 econoline E14HHAF0094
but I thought that the vin numbers had 17 numbers / letters in them

US VINs weren't standardized to 17 characters until the 1980 model year.

I can't see econolines on there at all or what the first letter of E means

Looks like a 1978 E150 cargo van with 351 V8 built in the Lorain, Ohio plant.

You are welcome, Darin. This was the only info I found, 11 digit VINs are rare. The build letter, H, isn't listed in that file but H is used in all the other VINs as the Lorain, OH plant, now closed.
