Looks like these two shots are from the same day... Did you screw up the front bumper during the course of the shoot?
No, sadly. A month later my brakes failed and I rear ended a guy with a tow hitch. I used to go out to that spot a lot before I moved across the country. Did a lot of dirt races out there.
What tires are on this truck? Look close to the popular goodyear "wrangler RT" of the late 70's to mid 80's. Nice looking truck.
Yes these are the military GoodYear wrangler RT II. 77&79F250 pretty much nailed it as far as performance but for the price they are a pretty awesome set of tires. I think they look perfect on these trucks though.
Thanks
You SOLD it?!?!?! ok,, you should be shot!
jk,,, we all make decisions we have to at the time,,, we wont hold it against you for toooo long,,,
Yes I did Pickupman. Wasn't an easy decision, but I bought a '76 crew cab and my wife said I couldn't have both at this time. I will get another standard cab someday, but it will probably be a bump side.
Here's my 79 f150 ranger 4x4 that I picked up this fall and am currently restoring.
This picture is from the day I brought it home and pressure washed it.
Nice ride! Mines almost the same color scheme. Check out my garage/gallery.
Here's my '78 F150 long bed. Actually just sold it so hope I can still play along
Yup, you can play along..........was a nice color on your rig! Color coordinated with the house, even! Good choice on wheels too.....they look a little like the American Racing ones I've had before.
As it's a longbed thread (ew, that rhymed....sorry).......figured I'd throw Buford's posterior on here too.

I would advise against it and go for a set of the 2nd gen 37's that are radial's or the even better 3rd gen's that are Goodyear MTR's, Baja TA's, way better tire IMO.
