Aftermarket Motor Mounts

I bought a set of Trans Dapt 302 motor mounts and a C4 trans cross member for my 64. I'm looking for help determining the correct location to install the mounts and cross
member on the frame.

If anyone has used these and could provide some measurements on where they installed them, please let me know

never used those, but plan installing a 302 in mine soon
as far as measurements go
set the motor and trans in the truck
assemble mounts
check angles and clearances
clamp and drill
that the way I have always done it

The trick is to try and set the engine and transmission so you don't have to shorten or lengthen the driveshaft.

Work from where the tailshaft meets the drive shaft and go foreword. If you are lucky, the engine will not hit the firewall or the radiator.

Its one less thing to do if you can make the existing driveshaft work.

Also make sure your tranny linkage will work before you commit to placement.
