Seems that I have read on some forums in the past, that the High Mounted Stop Light (the light on the back of the cab close to roof) might have a bad blub in it) Try pulling that bulb and see if that solves the problem.

Also, try the Hazard lights to see if it blows the fuse.

Here are the 2 wiring diagrams for the stop light circuits. You might have a chaffed wire some where in the circuit. Hope these diagrams help.

Could it be the switch that's attached to the brake pedal?

Does it blow when the trailer is NOT hooked up?

If no,

You have a trailer wiring problem. I would check the trailer wiring from the trailer plug to your lights.

If yes,

Looking at the second diagram....I would look for a chaffed wire that goes from the auxiliary relay box #4 to the trailer plug on the rear of the truck....

trace the yellow and dark green wires from the trailer plug back to the aux relay box 4...some were along the way you will find an exposed wire that is shorting to ground to blow the fuse.

No. It's either the trailer (if one is hooked up) or the vehicle harness between the points that Larry said to check.

I did not see it listed in the owner's manual. I would suspect it is close to Fuse #6.

Almost sounds to me you might have a short to ground. There any exposed wires rubbing on anything?

Of course he has a short to ground. If he didn't, the fuse wouldn't be blowing.

Ya'll are talking about bad bulbs and relays. I was merely suggesting looked for a wire that is chafing on some body panels.
