I can't watch videos with the crappy internet on my phone. Maybe later I'll be somewhere so I can watch it.
Did you get your running problems figured out? I've been wondering if its that distributer you got?
If you still have all your Duraspark wiring you might try dropping a factory distributer back in?
My 460 was points, I stole the dizzy out of the 351M and dropped it in.
I found out my vac line is to the manifold port on the carb after YouTube researching. Not the correct full time one. So said the video from edelbrock. But the reason I put it there is from reading the instructions It lead to believe I as doing it right. I wish I had brought those instructions with me.
So I think that's the main issue. If that doesn't solve it then possibly the advance vac setting on the dist. Or the carb settings.
I drive a truck all week. So it'll be Fri night or sat before I can get back on it.
Can't wait to git home tomarro and check on those vent lines. I hope that's all it is. Going to have to get pictures of my rear end and try to figure out what it is. Axle code 02J . but it doesn't look like a Ford 9. Chunk unbolts from from, so it isn't a Dana, right?
Oh and idk how many guys have something similar, by this truck means a lot to me. We got matching tattoos
And here is the rear. Sorry guys I was completely wrong about what it looked like. Its been awhile since I looked. But this is not the Ford 9 the code comes back too.
