My dad recently stole his 94 f350 cc 4wd 7.3. Shortly after he had a fuel leak on the rear tank. So we ordered both new tanks. After getting the tanks in he now has a leak on the tube going back in to the front tank. I can't find the part or number for the fuel hat.
I can find them foe the gas motor all day long. Are the tanks different? Will the hat and sending unit interchange?
I fixed my own. The tube is just soldered in place. Heat with propane torch then blow the old solder out with compressed air. Solder in a piece of 3/8" steel line with a 90degree bend in the top. Iirc, I used acid core solder
nope.long since discontinued.doesn't matter much though, cus you likely wouldn't have liked the price if they still built them, and opted to save hundreds by having yours fixed instead anyway.
fords real good about pricing themselves out of the market (i doubt it's just ford in the auto industry.) poor business sense.
