Rear diff question for ND

This question is for ND or any one else who can help me. I have a 64 1/2 ton SWB with a limited slip Dana 60-2 rear end. It has 4.09 gear ratio and I would like to go to taller gears. somewhere around 3.54 or so. ND do you have info on part numbers for different ring and pinion sets for this differential?

May I offer a suggestion?
Check out the many gear websites. They offer a complete variety of gears; you don't need Ford part numbers for that.

3.54 is the first offering: http://www.summitracing.com/search/p...-model/dana-60

Mine is a Dana/Spicer 60-2 not a 60. No gear vendor websites list a 60-2 I have already checked. The 60-2 or a model 44 was used in 1/2 ton trucks that were ordered with a limited slip diff otherwise you got the Ford diff. 60's were used in 3/4 tons

It more than likely would be but that was not what it was ordered with. I can put this truck externally back to factory look in about a day. I have all documentation on this truck as ordered therefor I want to keep it that way externally. I know all documentation on a 50 year old truck does not mean squat or add value but that is the way we want it as it was my wife's dad's first new truck and she learned to drive in it and drove it throughout high school as he also had a 66 that he bought that he drove daily. So the 60-2 will stay. Guess maybe the question I should be asking is if the Jeep 60-2's are the same.

if you're not in a hurry, and can't find gears, i have a set of 3.54's. i'd like to go to a 9" with 3.00's, but thats not my #1 priority right now. when the right donor truck comes along, or if i luck into a rear end, that dana rear w/3.54's is getting swapped out. at that point, you'd be welcome to whatever you'd like.

Spicer/Dana 60.2 ~ 1963/66 F100 ~ Only two ratios available:

1963/66: C3TZ-4209-AH = 4.10-1 / 1965/66: C5TZ-4209-G = 3.54-1 (Spicer # 23212-X)

Thanks ND. The Spicer number on top of it, that is even more helpful.
