My 76 F250 has a rube goldberg rear bumper thats welded to the frame. As seen in the pics, it's been brush painted and I'm open to suggestions as to how to refinish it while still attached to the truck. I have a pot style sand blaster but that would means miles of rubber mask to protect the rest of the truck. Roll-on bedliner material comes to mind...anyone try that?
Also, the license plate lamp assemblies...anyone know of an aftermarket source for those or a reasonable alternative. They mount to the bumper with a single ¼" hole with the +wire running through the attachment bolt.
Pulled the old mudflaps off today and ordering some custom hot stamped replacements.
Thanks for any suggestions

Welcome to the welded bumper club! My '70 used to have the same one and didn't need lugging around an extra 80 lbs. It's prolly a Toyota or refrigerator by now...
Just wire-wheel it and then black roll-on bedliner on top and the silver or black spray paint on the sides.... that's what I'm gonna do to my F250.
X2 on use a wire wheel and/or sandpaper to clean it up. Prime and paint. Red Rustoleum works well in a spray gun thinned down or you can get red Rustoleum in spray bomb. When well dried, red Rustoleum sands well so you could go over it after priming with some 220 grit sandpaper to smooth it out id needed/desired before finish paint. Wouldn't be surprised if you can find generic license plate lights like those at an AP or trailer supply store.
