I factory ordered my '02 with crank windows and am amazed to hear they are still available. Keep it simple if your going to keep a vehicle a long time. Got vinyl carpet also......gets muddy...just hose 'er out. It's a truck and I use it like one....if I wanted carpets and all the bells and whistles I'd buy a Lincoln.

Yep. Crank windows all the way for me. I even have them in my mustang. I also went with manual hubs, transfer case and transmission. Vinyl seats too.

I ordered my '13 with manual windows. Since it's an XL I also have a vinyl floor. I thought hard about ordering it with a vinyl seat but chickened out. Now I wish I would've got the vinyl seat also since I've gotten a couple of stains on my cloth seat.

As far as heat,Ford has a furnace in their trucks. Don`t think you would ever notice the difference. Crank windows, I got my truck through a dealer search. The truck I wanted, color wise was to be picked up in the morning (90 miles away) and the salesman called the night before and asked if I wanted power windows. The truck I wanted had crank widows,I would rather do without air before I would go without power windows. Thats why my truck is silver not gray.

I agree. I've never had a truck that gets as hot inside as this one and I constantly have to turn the heat way down to keep it comfortable. It probably doesn't help that I just have a regular cab and there is a lot less space to heat.

Some people laugh at me for not spending money on carpet and power windows. Whatever!

Both my 150 and 350 are XL with vinyl floor, crank windows, stick shift, yada yada. Don't regret it, actually ordered the 350 from the factory built to spec. Well there are a few gripes I have with the XL 350 but minor. Like how they didn't put any door pockets on the huge door. Gap big enough to put a briefcase between the door and seat and nothing there. No armrest whatsoever with bucket seats. Not attached to the seat, nor console. Hand has to go in the lap or dangle, kind of weird. Also cupholders... my XL got 2 for a 5 passenger vehicle. Not convenient, but just minor.

yes, vinyl floors, crank windows, manual doors, no cruise control, no tilt steering, no heated seats, manual seat rollers, no lumbar seats, but I do have air conditioning...

I'f my truck falls into a lake...I will be able to unlock the door or roll down the window to get out.
