Quick question regarding floor mats

I have a 2012 XL with vinyl floors and want/need a floor mat to protect the factory vinyl floor as my heel is wearing a hole in it by the gas pedal.

Most floor mats are made for trucks with carpets - they have the little nubs on the underside to help the floor mat grab the carpet. Any experience - recommendation for a floor mat to be placed on top of the factory vinyl floor mat ?

Hey Dan, I have the xl w/ vinyl also. I picked up a pair of the SD floor mats. It didn't actually have the hard plastic nubs in the driver side mat, but it did have the holes for them. Only problem is, it moves around a little while driving, but not to much. I was almost thinking of using a few hits of double sided tape under it to hold it in place, but that's no good for when you want to take them out and clean them. It would just make a mess.


I wonder if the anchor points for the floor mats are still there on the xl also, just covered by the vinyl floor? Anyone know?

 

try some velcro that has sticky tape on each part (hook part and loop part) of the velcro.
