Hey guys looking at filling my fuel bowl up with comecleaner what do you all recommend. I’m here in Kansas City. I’ve heard ofpeople using seafoam but wanted to get a few opinions. Trucks got alittle over 245k on it and about a year ago i used seafoam and it seemed to help out but just seeing what everyone else is doing.
I wouldn't run a straight injector cleaner in the fuel bowl. While it may clean the injectors, it may also damage them due to a lack of lubricity. Most injector cleaners use a "scrubbing action". You get better cleaning over a period of time by adding them to your tank than flushing them with a high concentration for a short period. Also, Seafoam is not on my short list of recommended cleaners. Just my 2 cents.
I use Diesel kleen and TW3 2-cycle oil with every fill up. Keeps them lubed and QUIET.
Also I would do some research on the ATF. I believe that is old school and not recommended any longer due to the detergents etc that are now in the ATF. I'm just going on the consensus of what I have read.
