I'm re routing my CCV pipe and seen some videos post,etc some suggest a drip collection can and does anyone know, under normal conditions how much oil should one expect to be purged out of the system between oil services? Some just put a breather at the end of hose so nothing gets in, others say the system it's designed so the turbo
vacuum pulls the oil vapor out of crankcase.
The crankcase when the engine is running will have
a positive pressure. The pull from the intake at the turbo
does also help.
I have not seen that much in the missing oil department
when it comes to the change time. But not having a system
installed yet I can't say for sure just how much is blowing out.
