I have a 2007 f250 6.0 powerstroke. I replaced the boots on my intercooler piping and noticed all this oil inside the cac boots and in the turbo. I know the system is supposed to have some oil in it due to the crankcase venting into the intake, but this seemed liked alot. Is this a normal amount?

Normal, it accumulates. I used to tell when my boots were ready for replacing by the oil weeping through the hose material.

 

They all put a little oil out ,ck hoses regular and turbo shaft play anytime your in that area with hose off,look for signs of wheel rub on walls of housing,if smokes alot while warmed may be getting to much oil thru turbo. Is any oil dripping around the dipstick area or any oil leaks anyplace after sitting?
