Well my bumper doesn't sag or anything like that and the hitch doesn't have the dent your talking about. It just has 3 tabs on either side. I just find it odd the it fit one truck but trying to get it on mine I run into weird stuff like this. I'm thinking off cutting slits in the bumper so I can move the which farther back....can some of you guys take pictures of how your hitches are mounted?
I have the spacers just wanted to make sure that even with the spacers if its still on the rivet is it ok. The way this mounts has me uneasy.
You should not have to bend the hitch or the frame when tightening the bolt to have the spacer fit tight. If need be add another washer with the spacer
here is how mine is mounted first pic is what i mean by the little dent to clear the rivet second is overall mounting, looked at reese website and it does say that spare tire must be moved to fit
