light problems pls help

I have a 2005 ford f250 I recently bought we took it all apart and had it all painted and bought a new bed for it cause old one was bad we are putting a 2011 bed on my 2005 and we put it all together and now the rear lights don't work Anyone have any idea on how to fix this problem pls help asap

Usually when people paint things up really nice, they lose the grounding. Pull the taillights and see how they are grounded. If the ground bolts to the sheetmetal inside the bed cavity, you may need to take the ground wire off and and scrape away some paint where it bolts on. Same with the frame. If the wire or another wire bolts from the harness to the frame, you need to scrape away the paint so it makes good contact to the metal.
