Door latch removal

Help me out here guys . I got my latch all lose but there is a bar that goes to the inside handle and I don't see a way to get if off. Is there a trick?

If its the bar I think you mean you rotate the mechanism 90 degrees and it will slip off. If that doesn't work publish a photo and we can better understand what you are talking about.

Rotate the door latch (21812) to disconnect it from the door latch remote control (21818).
