Time to delete My 3013. Truck may go in next week for Torque Technologies T1, EGR block, probe, and delete pipe. I just ran the Edge Insight to monitor regens for a couple weeks. I don't think the truck knows what it's doing, let alone me figuring it out. Returning the Insight monitor. I said I'd never run a modern diesel past warranty unless deleted. I'll delete this one, pay it off, put it in the barn for dedicated tow duty, and get something else for daily driving. The 2017's will hit $80k+ when new. Not going there. I have all I need, it's been dependable, and runs good. I'm going to make sure it lasts now.

Once you drive it deleted and tuned you won't want to drive anything else, lol
Shifting is fine but the trans is relearning so I will have better review of shifting afterwards. Running it on performance tune (not for towing). Im not sure the actual file name or if it is a custume tune. Diesel tech is former Ford and H&S tech, said he updated everything.
Couple comments I disagree with on here. Have not heard of head gaskets being a concern on the 6.7. You must be thinking of a 6.0 or 6.4. You will not lose any power going 5" exhaust over 4" either. The only gain thou is a little deeper sound. The turbo is the back pressure on a boosted motor. The less restriction after the turbo the better. Ever wonder why high hp boosted cars dump exhaust right after the turbo out the fender?
Your dpf does most of the muffling on the stock exhaust. That is just a resonator in the rear section. These motors are pretty quite and refined thou until wot. I don't find it too loud even with 5"with the Flo pro muffler. Your tune should already keep the egr valve closed. All the blocker plates do is prevent any soot from building up between the manifold and the closed egr valve. This build up can create problems if you ever go back to stock and blocker plates are a good idea in my opinion, especially for how little they cost. For a mild delete tune I don't think a intake is necessary. You might gain a little quicker spool up, prob not much thou. If you are running bigger tunes you will gain some torque, especially with the nl stage 2
I used the kit that includes the 4" pipe with muffler from flo pro that goes from downtube back. SCTx4 and egr cooler delete but i only installed the blocker plates and left the cooler in. I pull quite a bit and did not want obnoxious exhaust noise. The truck is a little louder and deeper under load. i use a tow tune(40hp). No soot on the truck, no noticeable black smoke unless i really hammer it. Very simple to install the exhaust( the hangers are a bitch when remover the dpf). The only thing that I notice is the turbo when the truck is cold. the variable vanes kick open and close trying to warm the truck up and it sounds like a huge hair dryer for a few minutes off and on.
