so it might be a dumb question but i havent seen anything about it, doing e-fuel why cant you just throw a pump on inline, and use the same requlator you have and bypass the mechanical pump?
Its not that easy.
The pump is NOT just in line.
It is dual stage and feeds fuel into filter, back out and then into both heads.
Second is doing the tipical efuel system style gives better filtration than the OE filter yields.
And most importantly declutters the v and eliminates the leak prone system.
so me, being a "tight-wad" do that mod, and put the filter on my frame, pre and post pump, hook the pump up to my ignition...the stock regulator would be good right? just trying to think of a way to do it for cheap

You can. But bill gets a regulator off eBay that's dirt cheap. All the fittings will be what adds up fastest. I used steel jic fittings from the hydraulic shop with the push loc hose and that saved the bank big! I also used the factory lines just hooking up front in the v and down on the rail before where the soft hose is.
