I have some warn premiums on order. When installing, is there anything I need to do to eliminate the vacuum part of the old auto ones?
Block off air/vacuum lines?
I just ordered as I don't mind getting out to lock and unlock.
If the vac lines are in good shape just disconnect up at the canister and cap it off there. Mine were toast so I capped right at the hub assembly and also at the canister to isolate the bad vac lines. Another option is to cap the lines behind the small bracket on the frame by the shock, keeps the cap up out of the elements.
Install of the hubs themselves is a walk in the park, pop out the retaining ring, slip out the old hub, slide in new hub, replace with new retaining ring. Old hubs might need some persuasion, my drivers side slid right out, pass side needed a few gentle taps with mallet
