Ok, first things first. The promised oil pan photos. I apologize for it being dirty but wasn't sure if I was going to use it at first, then the rebuild started so...
Pretty sure the width is the same as the dodge pan, probably height also, (8" top gasket flange to bottom of sump, not including drain).
All valves back in the same hole they came out of. I use the rubber bands to keep them in place so I can reposition the head
Valve seals in place and a little assy lube in the spring pocket
Installing 60lb valve springs. This compressor gets the job done but its not fun at times. Sold my good one along with my valve grinding machine about 20 years ago (STUPID)

Judging by your pictures. I think you'll have no issue running that pan. As you can see there is a mile between the front of the sump and the front crossmember on mine. I think the only bigger part is the front of your sump is a little deeper then mine in the front. I think the only concern is where your tie rod is. I'm running cross over and a very large tie rod. I still think it should clear just fine.
Considering that it is no wider you should have no issue there either.
Thanks for the pics. Are you running 78-79 D-60? If so I should be good. My D-60 is a later model ( still kingpin) so the diff housing is farther outboard. That was my main worry, hitting the diff.

Parts fairy came buy yesterday, I forgot to show this off
Cummins head gasket with the head in place. Installing ARB studs
All pushrods installed on their original lifter with some assy lube
ARP torque lube on all washers, threads. Torqued in three steps to max torque, (125lb/ft), then 3 check cycles before I got a clean run where no fasteners advanced. WOW, thats hard on forearms
Can someone give the dimensions for a dodge fan. Diameter, depth from face of mounting flange to front, and mounting bolt centers. I have the fan that came on the engine, but I believe its quite a bit bigger and may cause fitment problems. if so need to see also if the dodge fan will fit this support before I mount it.
Thanks, Carl

Reason: gas engine terminology, stupid
Im also going with a different exhaust manifold, center exit on about 45* angle. Does anyone know the Part# for the turbo oil drain tube I will need for this application?

The stock fan I am running is on its own mount. It's not part of the water pump. I will try and get you some measurements tomorrow.

It depends on the turbo and where your drain port is in the block. Post up a picture of your drain on the turbo and where your drain port is in the block. If its a stock type two hole you may be able to use a stock dodge one. I am using a stock cummins flexible drain so it clears my waste gate rod. This is the one I am using. It is long but I bent it so it all drains down hill.
Thanks co425, I had just completed a google search and came up with that very one. And yes, my current turbo does have the two bolt attachment for the drain tube.
