Emblem paint
Hello - does anyone know how to paint the hood side emblems on a '62? My search has shown the color is Ford Red on the front, but were the side emblems painted at all? It seems to me that they might have been red where the emblems are ribbed to match the front. Were the FORD letters painted, or left unpainted? I'm attempting to paint these things - a project in itself. Were there emblem pads for these? There don't seem to be any available from what I've seen.

i read your post, did research years ago.
