Suggestion for repainting emblems
The paint's chipped off the emblems, like the avatar I have. I bought a black and red touch up pen but they don't flow enough paint to work correctly.
Anyone got any tips on repainting these?

I use modeling enamels.. a paint pen is supposedly the better way to go.
Lay off the coffee?

Thanks Hio, I just remembered I had some sign paint I can use for the black, I'll have to see if I can't find a craft shop for the red.

Other tips...
Apply the color in a cool environment.. if dries too fast, the color will appear layered or blotched.
Apply enough color to "pool" so it dries as a solid rather than in bits and pieces. This tip partners with the cool air above.
Wear reading classes is necessary.
Have some paint thinner and cotton swaps handy to wipe up errant paint.
If right handed, work from left to right. Vice versa if left handed...
Multiple quality paint brushes are recommended. I use fine tipped brushes to push paint into the corners and to daub a drip of paint in tight spots.
Allow to dry in a horizontal position.
...... and lay off the coffee or other stimulants.

On mine, I just spray painted the black part and then wiped the paint off the high points with acetone.

Must... Have... Coffee...
Question on this though cause I haven't reached this point yet, what's the best way to strip or prep the painted area for paint?

I use steel wool to roughen the original paint, then a good cleaning with shop air and wax/grease remover on cotton swabs. A shot of brake cleaner is a good thing too.
