All I was saying (to Cory) is that the choke **** itself (black **** with white insert) on all the trucks I've looked at did not say "CHOKE" on the white part like the HEAT and TEMP ***** do. I could be wrong about that, but that's all I was getting at so any other stuff is cool and good to know, but not pertinent to what I was saying to Cory so not sure why you are calling me out on this one.

Ive never seen CHOKE on the ****, just on the bezel.

Is there a plain bezel? I want a throttle cable but I need to find a plain bezel.

I also find fewer and fewer of these parts on ebay. I personally don't sell on ebay anymore, to much hassle and to many fees. I only buy off ebay if I cant find it anywhere else.

I don't think there is a plain one, at least not one made for our trucks, maybe a different model in the same era.

I do sell some tractor parts here and there on eBay, I used to be big into IH Cub Cadets, but that has changed since I got the truck, but you are correct... the fees are nuts!

I'm not calling you out per se. The thing is: How many people are aware that the choke **** and bezel were only furnished with the cable?

I don't know if their is a plain bezel but the bezel for a throttle would have to be a part of the cable the same way as the choke cable
I have a throttle from my truck that cal trans put on

Your truck cannot be Cal-Trans related because the DSO code is 74 (you posted this and other Warranty Plate info in the registry thread).

Cal-Trans would not have ordered trucks from a Ford dealer located in the Seattle WA (74) Ford District Sales Office!

Cal-Trans would have ordered the truck from a dealer located in either 71 (Los Angeles aka SoCal office) or 72 (San Jose aka NorCal office).

I seem to recall that at one time, Senator Ford in Sacramento (DSO 72) had the Cal-Trans contract.
